Red Quinoa

Called "Rice of the Incas", quinoa has been cultivated since more than 5000 BC. Quinoa is used as a cereal, although it is part of the chenopodiaceae, like spinach and beets.

The seeds of quinoa look like small red discs.

Firmer when cooked, it will have a more mineral taste than white quinoa.

Very easy to cook, quinoa can be mixed with meats and fish and can also be enjoyed in salads!
