Pecorino Semistagionato is made with pure 100% pasteurized sheep's milk from Maremma. A beautiful cylindrical rind has a straw-yellow to gray color and a very firm paste.
Pecorino Semistagionato is also known as semi-mature or semi-seasoned pecorino which has a sweet and delicate taste with notes of milk, butter, and grass.
These cheeses are aged for at least 60 days and are excellent to be eaten with toasted homemade bread or pears.
