Comté is a delicious cheese from Franche-Comté, France, made exclusively of raw cow's milk poured into copper vats. It is then matured for a minimum of 600 days where it is regularly churned and rubbed.

A beautiful yellow rind, a very soft texture, a mild flavor and is rich in nuances. The taste is a mixture of floral and fruity flavors, with hints of lactic acid.

Comté is one of the most unique cheeses available and can be enjoyed at all stages of a course, from the aperitif to the cheese platter. It is especially suited to many culinary preparations. Thanks to its ability to melt and glaze, it can be used very simply on all gratins.
