
Brie de Melun is a cheese made raw from cow’s milk by Jean-Claude in the region of Ile-de-France. While preparing this cheese weather conditions and food for the cow is carefully handled resulting in a wonderful white bloomy rind, smooth texture, and a very fruity flavor with a bouquet.
Brie de Melun is usually offered at the end of a meal. This cheese can also be used to cook local specialties, the most famous of which is the Brie crust (Brie in puff pastry), also with farmhouse bread.
