Bleu Du Vercors Sassenage AOP
Bleu du Vercors Sassenage is carefully hand molded by cheese makers in Isère, France. They are salted and cured in the cellars of Villard de Lans for at least 21 days of maturation. It has a beautiful marbled blue color with a smooth and rich texture with a creamy taste and delicate hazelnut notes.
The Bleu du Vercors is suitable with a few slices of fresh fruit, country bread, nut bread or gently toasted gingerbread.
Over the years, through passion and conviction, Bleu du Vercors Sassenage became the 35th French AOC cheese in 1999. It is one of the rare French AOC cheeses produced in the heart of a Regional Natural Park.
