
Tetilla cheese is a pasteurized cow milk cheese, matured for 8 days, with a protected designation of origin. Its smell is mild, with a slight salty taste, buttery flavors and a touch of acidity that will pleases the most demanding of palates.
Tetilla comes from Galicia, north-western spain, and means "small breast" in spanish, due to its shape. The PDO was obtained in 1993 in Spain, and its average weight is between 0.5 and 1.5 KG.
