In Fara San Martino was born more than 130 years ago a product that is now recognized all over the world for its superior quality: the De Cecco pasta. Don Nicola De Cecco was famous in the surroundings for producing the best flour, a knowledge that he passed to his son Filippo, so started De Cecco pasta history.

The family craftmanship has had numerous milestones in the course of history, starting with Don Filippo De Cecco's innovative idea to create a new low temperature drying device, to allow pasta to dry in any weather condition. The De Cecco pasta is very unique thanks to selected wheat, fresh semolina, bronze plate drawing and of course the low temperature drying process, that all participate to make the products acclaimed by Chefs worldwide.
